If anybody is interested in becoming an annual class member, please PM Dean G. Class membership gives the Canadian OK Class up to 3 spots at the World Championships for the year, a vote at the OKDIA Annual General Meeting, and many other benefits that only membership can provide.
Since we are trying to attract new members, we will keep the annual dues low (we were thinking $10/year for associate membership and $20/year for owners of OK Dinghies).

Just a reminder for those out there,
If you want to race in the Worlds, you must have a current class membership. Other countries (the UK as example) have only limited spots available for sailors at the Worlds, so these spots are pretty well contested. We are generally entitled to 3 spots (as long as the National Registration is put in with OKDIA), which does cost us annually. Your dues paid to the Canadian OK Dinghy Class Association are used to pay for our annual membership, thus giving us our entries for Worlds.
Please message me regarding having your annual membership fees paid. I will have the official receipt and curent sticker sent out to you to confirm your membership, as well as give you first right to represent Canada at the Worlds (if you would like to do that).
